Recently Felpa Felt was featured on a national television show that is broadcast from Mexico City. I presented my business concept to a panel of advisors who then made suggestions to help me succeed. It was very exciting and I received some good ideas.
A friend of mine that works for Boomdog Productions in Mexico City forwarded me the casting call for the program because she really liked my work. So did the producer. However, apparently the directors did not want to come to San Miguel, but she convinced them because she liked my project.
The crew came to San Miguel and filmed me in what was yet to be my studio above Natura and then we went to the house of some parents of the school to film me telling a story with my felted birds to the children in my classes. They also did a short interview there.
About a month later, we went to the Boomdog studios to tape the show. The experts were very friendly and kind and gave me great ideas. But the looming question was: What business do you want? (Que negocio?) They said that I was doing too many things and that each thing needed a different marketing strategy. I don’t think that I have yet decided what kind of business I want, but the question keeps haunting me.
I want to have fun, create, and make money to do what I love while doing it.
